JUNLI devotes to create a special scene or story for each collection, a clear memory of an indistinct moment concealed in the brain. This season the story comes from a sunset moment in a washitsu, the warm sunlight cross through the window, a set of samurai armor sitting in the room. The shadow of a flower lying on the ground. From the ashes of the old times, a new world will arise, the future and the past ceaselessly exchange.

 

Li combined the idea of Japanese traditional packaging technic with the structure of samurai armor, created the key detail of this season. The cotton webbing has been knitted by hand on laser-cut fabrics. The metallic orange colour transmits the sunset temperature, the flower shape pattern on the coat represent the shadows on the floor. Li transforms all the elements at this moment hidden in the AW19 collection.
