The London College of Fashion graduated designer Jun Li founded his namesake label in 2014 in London. In the beginning of 2016, JUNLI was reported as "CREATIVITY FROM CHINA" by Vogue Italia. Later the same year, Jun was invited by the senior editor of Vogue Italia Sara Maino and the president of CNMI Carol Capasa to present his SS17 menswear collection during Milan Mens Fashion Week, which made him the first Chinese menswear designer presenting on the official schedule with full sponsorship.
The restrained aesthetic is the unique design language of JUNLI. Restraint stands for appropriate blank-leaving in the design and ultimately aspires to the precise expression in restricted space. Fabrics and craftsmanship are the foundation of JUNLI’s garment, consistently focused on rigorous tailoring and exquisite details, calmly and sharply defining dressing beyond time and labels.
JUNLI's designs are often inspired by films and artworks. Jun captures the clues through his own reflections and interpretations, weaves them into each season's designs. Using the garment as the medium to deliver the emotions, JUNLI illustrated the particular stories from its own perspective.
